This easy Homemade Maple Syrup is perfect for all your breakfast foods, and can be prepared in under 20 minutes!

I absolutely love pancakes and waffles, they are probably in my top five favorite foods in general. However, in my opinion, they are not complete unless they are slathered in butter and drowned in syrup.
While pure maple syrup involves tapping maple trees to collect sap and boiling it down, this easy maple flavored syrup, aka pancake syrup, uses maple extract for flavoring the mixture of brown sugar and granulated sugar.
This homemade syrup elevates our favorite breakfast foods to the next level, and pairs great with my hit and Homemade Pancake Mix, Pumpkin Butterscotch Pancakes and Blueberry Banana Sheet Pan Pancakes.
