Are you ready for a super easy and delicious treat? This Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge is one of the best! Fast, simple, and perfect for any sweet tooth craving!
I love fudge. I also love cookie dough – quite possibly in the same equal amount. But what I don’t love is when I have to get in the kitchen and make them separately. This takes time and when I’m wanting something sweet, nobody has time for that.
This is why I’m pretty obsessed with this simple fudge recipe. It’s the perfect balance of sweet cookie and creamy fudge that will literally have you eating it all and wondering where it went. (Unless you have will power. Then good for you! I might need to ask you for a lesson.)
The good news is that this fudge is fast to make so whipping up another batch isn’t going to be an issue at all even if you DO eat it all. If you run out or eat the entire plate, you can just make another batch quickly!

Personally, some of my favorite Christmas gifts are the kind I can eat!! As long as it’s something delicious (like this fudge is), it makes me happy to know that someone took the time to put their own effort into making me a gift.
Food gifts are even more fun when they are presented in a special way. While I am happy to take yummy treats that are just on a plain paper plate or packed in an old cool-whip container, it’s a lot more fun when they are bundled in pretty packaging!
I did a little bit of browsing and found all of the fun food containers listed above.

How To Make Homemade Fudge with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Spray an 8-inch square casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Line with parchment paper and spritz the paper with more nonstick cooking spray.
Place the flour in a microwave-safe bowl and heat about 1 minute in the microwave or until the flour reaches 165 degrees.
Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla until completely smooth.
Add the flour and salt to the butter mixture, beating again until combined.
Stir in 1 cup of mini semi-sweetened chocolate chips.
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips on high heat in the microwave, stirring after 30 seconds and then repeating for 10-second intervals.
Stir well between each session as the chocolate will continue to melt with the residual heat in the bowl. Do not overheat the chocolate as it will seize up.
Add the sweetened condensed milk to the melted white chocolate and stir well. If the chocolate cools, microwave again for 15 to 30 seconds or just until mixable.
Mix the melted chocolate and condensed milk mixture into the cookie dough mixture.
Transfer the fudge into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle remaining mini semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top and press down gently.
Refrigerate the fudge for 2 hours or until firm.
Remove the fudge from the baking dish by lifting the edges of parchment paper.
Heat a large knife under hot running water. Wipe dry and cut the fudge into squares, reheating and drying the knife between cuts.
Can you freeze fudge?
You can. Once you make the fudge, all you need to do is store it in the freezer in a freezer-safe container for later. This is the fastest and easiest way to save it.
When you’re ready to eat it, you just move it to the freeze and let it thaw.
Fun topping ideas for fudge
Don’t forget to add toppings to your homemade fudge! You can add on sprinkles or even a little bit of melted chocolate to dribble right on top! This makes for a fun look and is a simple and easy way to give your fudge recipe more sweetness without a ton of extra work!
