The Perfect Christmas Snack Recipe
It’s so easy to get bogged down with what seems to be a never-ending to-do list during the holidays. Saving time and money on planning parties, family meals, and buying gifts is key.
That is why I love this chocolate-dipped Oreos recipe. It checks all the boxes for the perfect affordable and time-saving treat while still having a touch of homemade.
Is It Hard To Make This Christmas Chocolate Covered Oreos Recipe?
Not at all! All you need are cookies, melting chocolate or candies, decorations, and parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. If you are a home cook, chances are that you have most of these ingredients at home already!
You can either melt the chocolate in a double boiler or you can use your microwave. Both methods are effective and easy to do. Of course, using the microwave shortens the time it takes to make your finished cookies.
What Different Options Are There For Dipped Oreo Cookies?
Many people use a fork to dip the cookies into the melted chocolate and transfer them to the baking sheet to harden. Another option is to use cake pop sticks and push them into the cream and dip and serve them that way. I think either one is simple enough, even for the most novice cook!
How Long Do Chocolate-Dipped Oreo Cookies Last?
You can store your cookies in an airtight bag or container for up to 2 weeks after making them. If you would like to keep them for up to 3 months, you can place them in a freezer in the same bag or container.
