These DIY Bat Treat Cups make the perfect Halloween party favor filled with candy, stickers or trinkets. They’re fun for kids and easy to make!
Halloween is such a FUN time for kids, isn’t it? If you are looking for bat craft ideas for a Halloween party favor or classroom activity, take a look at these cute Halloween bat treat cups! It’s a fun option as adorable BOOing gift!
Kids can decorate their cups with googly eyes and fangs to make them their own, then fill them with candy, stickers, pencils - you name it! You’ll end up with a finished product that’s much more on the cute side than the scary one!

The supply list for this Halloween bat craft is a short one, so you should be able to find all the supplies you need at your local craft store, but to make it easier you can find everything online:
Jubilee 12-Ounce Paper Cups, 40 Count, Black
Astrobrights Colored Cardstock, Eclipse Black
Creativity Street Peel and Stick Wiggle Eyes
X-ACTO #2 Knife With Safety Cap
Sanford 35558 Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Marker, Medium Point, White
Halloween Bat Treat Cups
Supplies:
- Black Paper Cups
- Black Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Googly Eyes
- X-Acto Knife
- White Paint Marker
- Printable Bat Template
How to Make Bat Treat Cups:

Step 1: Use an X-Acto knife to cut the bottom out of the black paper cup. (An adult will need to take care of this step.)

Step 2: Turn the cup upside down on a piece of black cardstock and trace around the cup.

Step 3: Cut the circle from the cardstock and glue to the bottom of the paper cup. Trim off any excess.

Step 4: Print out the bat template, cut out and trace on black cardstock. Cut out bat wings and ears.

Step 5: Glue the wings and ears onto the paper cup.

Step 6: Glue on googly eyes.

Step 7: Use a white paint marker to draw on a mouth and fangs.

Step 8: Add candy and small toys to the treat cups for a fun and spooky Halloween party favor!

Equipment
- Scissors
- X-Acto Knife

Instructions
- Use an Xacto knife to cut the bottom out of the black paper cup. (adult needed for this step)
