Alice Through the Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere Experience

Magical!! That is the perfect one-word description for Alice Through the Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere experience. It was a night filled with music, celebrities and fun with friends, all to celebrate the premiere of Disney's Alice Through the Looking Glass, which will be in theaters this Friday, May 27.Pink Just Like Fire Performance Jimmy Kimmel
 
The evening started out with a BANG with Pink performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!  We had a view from the VERY FRONT ROW as she performed both her new hit single from the film "Just Like Fire" and a cover of the Jefferson Airplane classic “White Rabbit”.
 
Pink was AMAZING and so was the energy from the crowd! We were among many fans who had arrived hours earlier to have a chance to watch the performance with some dressed in awesome Alice-inspired costumes.

Hollywood Boulevard was closed to traffic and all dolled up for the premiere. It was decorated with clocks, giant flowers, mushrooms, and a stage with a huge looking glass backdrop. There were even product displays from HSN with whimsical Alice-themed accessories.

We had fun posing for our own photos and enjoying the thrill of it all. Our group of 25 bloggers was all adorned in bright and colorful dresses – no black!

But we 25 bloggers were not the only ones on the red carpet, of course!! There were plenty of stars on the scene, lots of media there to photograph and interview them, and hundreds of screaming fans along the edges of it all trying to catch a glimpse of their favorite celebrities. I was too busy trying to take it all in to take my own celebrity photos, but luckily Disney had these to share!

Celebrities Alice Through the Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere

And then it was time to see the movie Alice Through the Looking Glass itself, of course! The premiere was held at the El Capitan Theatre, a beautiful old-hollywood theater complete with an organist playing a pipe organ live before the movie began.
It felt special to be watching the movie with the cast, crew and filmmakers who all worked so hard to bring the story to the screen. I’ll be back on Friday to give you my full review of the film!

Watching the movie wasn’t the end of the night! From there we moved to The Roosevelt Hotel for the Alice Through the Looking Glass Premiere Party! The party was a great way for everyone involved with creating the film to relax and have a bit of fun. Luckily, we were invited too!

The first thing my friends and I did when we arrived was to head to the lounge set up by Urban Decay to have our makeup touched up by their professional makeup artists.  The featured colors all came from the new Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette, which has so many beautiful colors from the soft colors inspired by Alice to the bright and bold ones inspired by the Mad Hatter. I wish I could have a professional do my makeup every time I go out!

We also ate and drank (loved the adorable teacup cookies) and experienced some of the fun activities like manicures and nail touch-ups by OPI, photo stations and an awesome virtual reality experience created by OZO. This VR experience was so much more fun than I expected.
 
Once I put on the virtual reality goggles – shazam! – I was transported back to the Pink concert of a few hours earlier. But what was extra cool was then when I turned around to see Pink’s view from the stage, there I was rocking out in the front row with my friends. Before we knew it, the party was over and it was time to go. Although my feet were killing me and it had been a very long day, the magic of the experience had me wide awake and still has me feeling a bit of a rush two days later.
