This yummy Valentine trail mix combines yogurt covered raisins, almonds and dried cranberries to make a pretty red and white snack
Valentine’s Day is almost here and it’s the time for sharing cards, sweet wishes, gifts and treats with our friends, families and loved ones.
Many of those goodies are sweet treats on the unhealthy side (which I think is totally ok for a special day!)
BUT, if you are looking for a treat that is a little more healthy, this Valentines Day Trail Mix Recipe is just the thing.
The colors of this mix tie in perfectly with Valentine’s Day and almonds are even considered to be one of the “foods of love”.
For the almonds in your trail mix you can choose to include either raw almonds or roasted almonds. If they’re roasted you can choose unsalted or salted. For our mix we chose raw, unsalted almonds.
To give the trail mix as a gift, you can pack it in a Mason Jar and, if you want to be extra fancy, you can even attach one of the FREE our FREE printable Valentine’s Day Labels onto the lid! (Just use a dab of glue or a glue stick to attach.)
