When it comes to family movie night or family game night, I’m all about the snacks! I love a tasty homemade snack and am always looking to find new options to change up our routine.

So, I was pretty excited to see how easy it was to zest up popcorn with the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Shaker and then realized I could also do the same thing with my homemade ranch dressing mix recipe that’s over on our sister site.

Both from the Hidden Valley shaker or a shaker of my own mix, the delicious blend of herbs and spices sitting in a handy dandy seasoning shaker is ready to add flavor with just a shake.

While there are lots of ways I like to use the ranch seasoning mix from coating chicken to seasoning fries to making actual dressing and dip from it, my new favorite way to use it is to make this ranch popcorn for movie night or anytime we want a quick snack. It’s super easy to make!

Sprinkle buttered popcorn to taste with Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Shaker or homemade ranch dressing mix.

Super easy, right!?!? What I love is that this recipe can be adapted to lots of other snacks as well. Next up I’m going to mix up some Ranch Seasoned Crackers and then I’ll move on to Ranch Seasoned Pretzels next!
