This Easy Spaghetti Bake Recipe starts on the stove and finishes in the oven for a super easy and delicious dinner. Plus there is NO BOILING of the pasta!
If it were up to my husband, we would have a dish made with ground beef or pasta with red sauce for dinner every single night.
So, it comes as no surprise that when I make a recipe that has ground beef ALONG WITH pasta and red sauce it ranks very high on the “please make” list.
This Easy Spaghetti Bake Recipe with No Boiling is definitely one of those recipes! Not only does it taste great, but it is super easy to make because you don’t even have to boil the noodles.
The recipe starts out in a skillet on the stove and then everything combines into a baking dish to finish off in the oven. That’s where the “bake” part of the name Easy Spaghetti Bake Recipe comes from!!
We love that this makes an easy dinner all in one dish, which is perfect to serve just with a salad, or if you’re craving carbs, some garlic bread.
For a twist on garlic bread you can make my super easy Inside-Out Garlic Cheese Bread Bites Recipe that just use a can of refrigerator biscuits. (SO GOOD!)
Easy Spaghetti Bake Recipe with No Boiling
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped (I like yellow or red)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 14-oz can diced tomatoes
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups water
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
How to make a Spaghetti Bake without boiling the pasta:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place beef, onion and pepper in skillet and cook over medium-high heat until beef is browned. Drain off excess grease, if necessary. Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add seasoning, tomato and ONE CUP of the water to skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Break strands of spaghetti into thirds and place in the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Pour the 1/2 cup of remaining water over the pasta. Spread beef mixture over the pasta. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake 40 minutes. Add in parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Bake and additional 10 minutes. Stir before serving to distribute the cheese.

Have made this a few times and we love this recipe! I have added different extra ingredients each time…. Fresh mushrooms, spinach, just whatever veggie that needs to used up!

This one was great! I LOVE not having to cook the noodles first! I only had 8 oz of ground beef on hand, but it still seemed like plenty of meat in the sauce. I think next time I might increase the tomato sauce to 14-16 oz, just because I like a really saucy spaghetti! Either way, this one is a keeper!

I had just made it. 😋THaNK YoU for this earth-saving recipe 😀✌ I made it meatless with Organic Whole Wheat Spaghetti. As far as el queso? Mozzarella (shredded it). Because i did not have too much on hand in la cocína, i topped it with chopped cebólla vérde. 😋 and…to bring on this humble simple Spahetti? I made Lentéjas (Lentils) to dunked down first .💖💯💃

I made this recipe using 1 24 ounce jar of sauce and 8 ounces of angel hair pasta. I also cut 10 minutes off the baking time. I’m about to take it out of the oven.
I also had to cut up 8 ounces of provolone cheese as I am out of mozzarella.

I’m going to try this with jar spaghetti sauce , have any of you tried it with jar sauce? I really like the idea of not having ro boil the spaghetti first. We live in the desert and boiling pasta really heats up the kitchen.

I haven’t tried it, but it should work. You might have to play around with the water ratio a bit, but as long as you use about the same amount of spaghetti sauce as there are canned tomatoes in this recipe, I’m thinking it will work. Good luck!

I tried it with spaghetti sauce this weekend, however, I did add some water. It turned out very good. I enjoyed and plan to make a in the near future.
