DIY Spooky Monster Pencils Craft
Here is what you will need:
Assorted pencils, plain colored or decorative
Assorted crafting pom poms
Googly eyes in various sizes
Craft glue
Hot glue, glue gun
We found everything we needed at our local dollar store. Do the same and you can easily create several dozen of these for just pennies per piece. Your local craft store will also carry these supplies.
Directions:
1. Begin by gluing the eyes to the pom poms. For ours, we glued a single eye on each. You can do the same, or switch it up and add three eyes if you can fit them. Going for an odd amount will give the pencils a spookier look!
2. Once the eyes are dry, you can attach the pom poms to the pencil. For this step, use the hot glue and glue gun. This way, the pom poms stay in place while writing and erasing. Simply apply the hot glue, and press to the top of the pencil. Be sure you don’t place it too close to the eraser. Allow plenty of time to dry.
Your monster pencils are now complete. How simple was that? As you can see, you can create a large number of these in very little time.
Gather your supplies and give these easy and inexpensive monster pencils a try. They are a great way to enjoy the Halloween season on a budget!
