It only takes 3 ingredients to make this warm and delicious Cheesy Hot Bean Dip recipe. Try it for your next party or family movie night!
As we head into late spring, it seems like the days keep getting busier and busier. While I love all the fun events and activities that are filling the days and weekends, it means less time available to spend in the kitchen. So, it’s super handy to have foods on hand that we can whip up in no time.
Last week I stopped by Walmart to pick up Delimex taquitos and tamales. I find them a convenient thing to have in the freezer for quick meals and especially for impromptu get-togethers. Just heat them up and get the party started!
To add a little bit something special to our next party, I created this super easy Cheesy Hot Bean Dip recipe to serve with Delimex taquitos. The “hot” in the title refers to the temperature, but you’re welcome to use hot salsa to make it hot flavor-wise too! I served the dip with yummy, crunchy Delimex Beef Taquitos, but it would pair well with any of the Delimex taquitos varieties.
Cheesy Hot Bean Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
1 16 oz. can refried beans
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
Cilantro for garnish (optional)
How to Make Cheesy Hot Bean Dip:
Mix beans, salsa and 1/2 cup of the cheese in a microwave safe container.
Top with remaining cheese. Microwave 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
(I divided mine into two smaller bowls and heated one at a time for a shorter period to keep the dip hot for a longer time.)
Garnish top with cilantro if you like.
And I can’t forget to mention the Delimex Tamales I picked up. I loved that they were so quick and easy to make and really good too! They turned out perfectly just heating them in the microwave – no steamer needed!
Which of the Delimex varieties would you keep on hand for your next get-together?

Yum! Will add this to our evening snack list ideas.. we like chips and cheese when watching movies after the kids go to bed. This would add a bit more flavor to our bland chips and cheese. Thanks!
