Make a sweet and lemony summer snack with this easy Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats Recipe! Topped with a pink and white drizzle, they’re pretty too (and perfect for Valentine’s Day!!)


Summer is here! That means it’s time for fun days playing outside, trips to the park and beach and family get-togethers. And summer snacks!
Rice Krispy Treats are always our go-to summer snack and we love experimenting with unique flavors to keep that variety going.

With this Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats recipe, you can make a yummy treat that is perfect for any summer occasion without having to heat up your kitchen by baking in the oven on a hot summer day.
These tasty treats get their lemon flavor thanks to a packet of Kool-Aid Mix. Adding the melted candy bark to the top not only adds an extra sweet touch, but it also makes them look super pretty.

Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats Recipe
INGREDIENTS
6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
3 tablespoon Butter
10.5 oz Marshmallows
Red Food Coloring (optional)
1 packet Pink Lemonade Kool-Aid Mix
¼ cup White Candy Melting Chips
¼ cup Pink Candy Melting Chips
How to Make Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats:
In a medium to large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Stir in Kool-Aid until well mixed.
Optionally, stir in enough food coloring to make the marshmallows pink.
Remove from heat.
Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until cereal is well coated.
Using butter or cooking spray, prepare a 9 x 9 pan.
Butter a your hands or use wax paper to press the mixture firmly into the pan.
Allow to cool.
Cut into bars.
Heat pink candy chips in small Bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer chocolate to small plastic bag and clip very tiny piece of corner to use for piping.
Pipe diagonal lines on each bar.
Repeat process with white candy chips.
