Chocolate brownies are topped with popcorn and M&Ms in this perfect movie night snack!
Do you ever wonder why the lines for the concession stand at the movie theater are so long?
My guess is that it is because they serve the perfect combination of sweet and salty snack foods and that makes them impossible to pass up.
So, when planning some yummy snacking for Oscar night viewing, I followed that same thought of sweet and salty and came up with a VERY yummy dessert idea: M&M’S Popcorn Brownies!
Seriously, this is one of my favorite things I have made in a while.
The crowning jewel of this treat is, of course, the M&M’S – which go hand-in-hand with movie-watching. I’m so happy to see the Krispy M&Ms back again – they’re so good!
They feature a crispy center covered in rich, creamy milk chocolate, enclosed in a colorful candy shell.
They’re easy to spot at the store in their bright green bag. Oscar night will be made much more fun delicious with bowls filled with all of our favorite M&M’S varieties.
And then we also have the brownies!

M&Ms really are the crowning jewel. I don’t know how they pack so much flavor into one little circle, but I’m sure glad that they do. 🙂

Oh.My.Word. I was all proud of myself for working out and eating healthy today but I’m ready to forget it and eat an entire pan of those brownies. Definitely going to make them (and not feel guilty because hey, I burned enough calories today, right?). 🙂
