There are a few things that can make summer, and especially summer get-togethers, extra fun – – sunny weather, family, friends, fun things to eat and great music! We had a family get-together this weekend and had SO MUCH fun! It was a bright sunny day and we had lots of great food on the barbecue grill as well as fun snacks like Pringles®!

It was really HOT this weekend, so we had to cool off with a water fight. It's amazing how much cooler it can feel when every inch of your clothing is soaked in water. I think it's actually feels even cooler than just wearing a bathing suit. Little R certainly was feeling cool and he was sounding pretty cool playing his Pringles® drums. Check it out:

Are you adding fun to YOUR summer with music? Pringles® is adding to the fun by unveiling its inaugural Summer Jam for music fans nationwide, which gives us all exclusive access to our favorite artists and unbelievable music content. They are challenging musicians from a wide range of musical styles and backgrounds to see what they can do using Pringles® cans as instruments. This group is aptly named the Percussion Prodigies and you can see their videos at Pringles.com/music. Hopefully their amazing sounds give you inspiration to make your own Pringles® can instrument! Even my mom is getting in on the fun with our Pringles® cans drums!

Pringles Mom

Once you start making music with your own Pringles® can instrument, upload a photo or a video with the hashtag #PringlesSummerJamSweeps. You can also support your favorite Percussion Prodigy by sharing their videos and pics using the same hashtag for a chance to win some pretty cool swag.

#PringlesSummerJamSweeps

And that's not your only chance to win! Pringles® is also offering some awesome chances to win music themed prizes this summer! Just pick up a specially marked can of Pringles®, enter your code online and you'll be entered for a chance to win a VIP concert experience for you and a friend.* There will be 10 Grand Prize winners! There are also chances to win one of thousands of music downloads.

So, what are you waiting for?!?? Get out there to have some fun, eat some Pringles®, and make some music!

What is YOUR favorite summer jam?

That is so cool! We eat a lot of Pringles, so I’m thinking I might be looking at a Neil Piert drum set out of our tubes!

How cool is that? My youngest son uses anything as a drum, he has some awesome rhythm too! What fun … you can play then eat 😉 Or eat then play!

I remember doing this when I was a kid! Pringles cans make great drums and are delicious to eat while making the drum too!

My favorite summer jam has to be Summertime by Kenny Chesney. Love listening to it cranked up in the car.

I like goofball playlists, like playlists of songs that contain the word ‘summer’ or ‘summertime’ – how about summer time by will smith?

I will have to keep an eye out for the codes on upcoming Pringles purchases, thanks for the heads up!

I’ve upcycled Pringle cans for several things before. Perfect shape! 🙂 Music is a huge thing in our home, love this! Summer jams for me include a lot of dance music, got to be moving in the summer.

Live Nation is my go to for rock concerts around here. They have a great website and a good Live Nation fan club. Pringles are a great chip. My husband is a big fan.

I LOVE music but am so out of the loop with current music- I was looking at a top 50 chart on spotify and had only heard ONE song before. We do like to play music and make our own music here though!
