Fried Cheese Stuffed Doritos Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs Of Medium Cheddar Cheese
1 ½ Cups of Nacho Cheese Doritos
1 ½ Cups of Spicy Nacho Cheese Doritos
4 Eggs
1 ½ Cups of Flour
½ Teaspoon of Black Pepper
1 ½ Teaspoons of Garlic Powder
1 Quart of Vegetable/Canola Oil
How to make cheese stuffed Doritos:
Cut Cheese into ½ inch squares then slice each square diagonally to make triangles.
Put 1 ½ cups of flour in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs until well blended.
Add both flavors of Doritos, pepper and garlic powder to food processor and blend until it looks like course breadcrumbs. Place mixture in a separate bowl.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set it at the end of your assembly line.
Take your cheese and coat it in the flour (not heavily coated), then place in the egg. Make sure the egg sticks to the floured cheese.
Then place it in your Dorito blend, make sure it is coated well. (If you are having a hard time getting Dorito mix to stick then blend a little more).
Place coated cheese triangles on parchment covered cookie sheet. Place in freezer for 2-3 hours (until frozen).
Once frozen, heat 1 quart of oil to 350 degrees.
Place Dorito covered cheese triangles in the oil for 1-2 minutes or until they are lightly browned. (Do not over cook or cheese will melt out.)
Remove with slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to soak up excess grease.
Serve immediately!!

hi can i use cool ranch because i like them better
Chrysa says
Sure!! The flavor will be different (of course) but if you like them better, then go for it! You might want to consider changing up the cheese flavor too for something that might go better with Cool Ranch – like Monterey Jack.
