These Easter Carrot Treat Bags are a perfect alternative to Easter candy and just as fun! It’s easy to make them with our free printable gift tags.
Easter is traditionally filled with lots and lots of candy. While I do like candy (especially chocolate) myself, it can be an overload.
Sometimes you want an Easter treat that isn’t quite so sweet and/or one that can withstand temperature changes better than meltable chocolate.
As a fun and super cute alternative, we have these Easter Carrot Treat Bags. They look like big carrots when filled with orange crackers and tied with green ribbon to resemble the carrot leaves.
To make the bags extra cute we have these free Printable Easter Carrot Treat Bag Tags. Printing on a heavyweight paper is best, but copy paper also works. You can cut them out “as is” or use decorative edge scissors for a fancier design on the edges of the Happy Easter tags.
Filling the bags with Annie’s Bunnies gives that extra Easter touch or, if you like you can use Goldfish crackers (although fish aren’t as “Eastery”).
If you like you can also hide a little tiny toy in the middle of the crackers for an extra surprise.
