This Copycat Fritos Bean Dip Recipe tastes just like the standard favorite bought in a can in the chip aisle -but even better! Great for parties & game day.
Are you a fan of the Fritos Bean Dip you buy in a can in the chip aisle of the supermarket?
If so, you will LOVE this Copycat Fritos Bean Dip Recipe that is almost like the original – but even better!
It’s super easy to make using canned refried beans, jarred jalapeños and a few spices.
The great thing about making your own is that not only is it less expensive, but you’re also able to adjust the spices to your own liking.
Love a little heat? Add more peppers. Not a spicy person? Cut down on the peppers or leave them out altogether.
The other awesome thing about this dip is that it is really quite healthy. Beans are packed with nutrition and fiber.
For the best nutritional option, look for canned beans that are low in fat, which most of them are. You can also choose fat-free beans, but I think a little fat in there makes a more creamy dip.
This recipe includes sugar because the dip in a can includes it, but if you prefer to leave out the sugar that’s up to you. Just keep in mind the taste will be a bit different.

I’m sorry that I’m really not familiar with canning or if this would work well being canned or not.
