These Cinnamon Tea Cookies are thin, crumbly and less sweet than most cookies, making them ideal for enjoying with a hot mug of sweet and spicy chai latte.
Summer is the perfect time to try new things. Most of us have a bit of extra time and we can make good use of it by expanding our horizons! One way we love to do that every year is by traveling.
We like to take at least one “long distance” trip to someplace we have never been, but we also will add in a road trip that keeps us in the state, but lets us see a city or area that is “new to us”. It’s always a fun way to learn and experience new things.
Besides traveling, trying and experimenting with new foods, beverages and flavors is an excellent way to broaden your world and experience new things.
Exploring the foods of other countries and traditions is often the most interesting way to do this.
Have you tried chai? A part of Indian history for 5,000 years, it’s a black tea blend that’s part sweet, part spicy.
Whether you’re already a fan or if chai will be one of the new things you try this summer, it’s easy to make with NEW TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods!
It’s a creamy blend of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and vanilla flavor all in one easy-to-make package.
I love how easy it is to make a cup of chai with the TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods in just two easy steps.
You simply empty the sweetened packet into your mug and then top with your brewed tea from the K-Cup® pod. Easy peasy!
That spicy aroma immediately fills the kitchen and makes me wish it could smell like that all day long! Find where to buy TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods at TAZO.com/wheretobuy.
While chai tea may be new to you, it has always been a part of New York Times Bestselling author and host Padma Lakshmi’s life and family heritage.
As a partner in celebrating the flavors of chai with TAZO, she has developed recipes that pair perfectly with a warm steamy cup.
Of all these recipes, this Cinnamon Tea Cookies Recipe is my favorite!
They are thin, crumbly and less sweet than most cookies, making them ideal for enjoying with a hot mug of sweet and spicy chai latte.

My family and I absolutely adore this recipe. I roll the dough up into a log, chill, and slice these into silver dollar size cookies. So yummy warm and straight out of the oven and also delicious once cool, crisp and dipped in milk. I plan to have these every Sunday for afternoon tea with my husband and sons. Thank you for this great recipe!

These sound delicious! I don’t usually think of cinnamon outside of cinnamon rolls, but these would be a great solution to them since they can be too sweet sometimes.
