This delicious smoothie combines bananas, peanut butter and chocolate chips! There’s even a fun monkey printable to make a cute straw for the kids.

Even though Little R doesn’t like anyone outside of the family to know, he is quite the little chef! Every year he branches out a bit more and learns to make more things.
Even though he is a picky eater himself, he will branch out when it comes to cooking and he will incorporate foods he won’t actually eat himself into the dishes he prepares.
Our hope is that by at least cooking with those ingredients he will get more familiar with them and eventually eat more of them!
One of his expert abilities for quite some time has been smoothies. He is able to whip up some great concoctions all on his own. So, he was the perfect person to help me make a yummy Chunky Monkey Smoothie made with bananas, Jif Creamy Peanut Butter, Dannon Vanilla All Natural Lowfat Yogurt and mini chocolate chips.
This smoothie tastes like a delicious dessert and is packed with protein from JIF (which also happens to be gluten-free and non-GMO).
Chunky Monkey Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 bananas
2 Tbsp Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup Dannon Vanilla All Natural Lowfat Yogurt
5 ice cubes
2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips
How to make a chunky monkey smoothie:
Peel bananas. (You can use frozen bananas if you want a super cold/thick smoothie.
Place bananas, yogurt, ice cubes and chocolate chips into blender.
Blend until smooth.
To serve our yummy Chunky Monkey Smoothie, we created this cute little printable monkey straw hangers. They are a fun and easy way to dress up the serving glasses. They would be extra cute for a party!
To create, just print them out, cut around the edges, and tape directly onto straws, or make a loop of paper on the back to slip over a straw.
