These delicious brownies combine all the key elements of Rocky Road: chocolate, marshmallows and nuts, into one fabulous dessert.
Rocky Road is a classic flavor and there are a few things that are REQUIRED to achieve it! You need chocolate, marshmallow of some type and nuts.
Actually the nuts are optional (I know some people hate nuts or are allergic), but if you’re including them, we love walnuts, but you could instead use chopped almonds, pecans, peanuts or your favorite nut.
We most often see Rocky Road as an ice cream flavor, but now we are turning it into a delicious brownie dessert!
Our recipe includes an easy-to-make brownie base, but for a super shortcut, you can bake the brownies from a boxed brownie mix and then just add the rocky road topping.
