Adding chunks of BBQ ribs make this the best ever Slow Cooker BBQ Baked Beans from scratch recipe!!
What are your plans for Labor Day weekend? We are excited to have my husband off work on Monday, which is a treat. And in more ways than one.
Not only do we have him home, we get some yummy food cooked on the grill.
Don’t get me wrong. I can man a grill, but not like my husband. He ROCKS the grill! I will let him make the star of our meal and I will make the sides.
This year, Chris is grilling up some Smithfield® Extra Tender Fresh Pork St. Louis Style Spareribs. I am going to make my Slow Cooker BBQ Baked Beans From Scratch.
Wanna know a secret that makes my beans stand out from the rest? I reserve some of the BBQ grilled ribs and add them to my recipe! Doesn’t that sound fantastic?! Trust me, they are!

Are you ready to make some Slow Cooker BBQ Baked Beans From Scratch? It has a lot of components, but still easy to make. Let’s get started!

How to Make Slow Cooker Baked Beans:
Grill your Smithfield Extra Tender Fresh Pork Ribs according to directions. Baste with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Set aside 1-2 cups of the ribs, chopped.
Soak your beans, rinse and cook according to directions.
Prep your veggies.
Saute your onion, pepper and jalapeno.

In your slow cooker add soaked or canned beans and rib meat. Add mixture to beans in slow cooker and mix well. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Don’t those beans look Ah-Mazing? Adding the grilled Smithfield Extra Tender Fresh Pork St. Louis Style Spareribs make all the difference. They add this smoky flavor that I have not had in a canned bean. I will tell you how good they are. My husband ate almost the entire batch before I could take my pictures! Yep! They won’t last long!
