MY Mario Gets a #MaLoUnderwear Makeover #CBias

What’s not to like about Mario Lopez?  He’s cute, he’s charming, he’s sexy, he’s Latino and he has created a successful career AFTER “Saved by the Bell”.  When I heard bloggers were needed to shop for the new MaLo underwear by Mario Lopez I said “Sign me up!!”  That meant I got to go shopping for undies for my own cute, charming, sexy, successful, Latino ALSO named Mario – – my hubby!

 

When I told Mario (MY Mario) I would be shopping for his MaLo Makeover, he simply said “cool!”  He is always happy to get new clothes and is actually one of the few people who requests underwear and t-shirts for Christmas.  I checked out his “undies basket” in the closet and realized that the current selection was beginning to look a little sad, so was ready to get started on my #MaLoUnderwear shopping.

Before heading out, I called ahead to the Target I would be visiting to make sure they had the MaLo underwear.  It’s a brand new product and not all stores are carrying it yet (call ahead to your store if you’re making a special trip for it.) 

The MaLo underwear definitely falls into the “Men’s Fashion” category of underwear.  It has a cool MaLo logo on each item and the colors are bright and fun.  The prints have a very graphic-art feel to them that I think would appeal to comic book fans.

While browsing I found two styles of underwear – both briefs and trunks, and two styles of t-shirts – v-neck short sleeves and scoop-neck tanks.  Both the underwear and the shirts came in packages of two for $12.99.  The front of the packages features a drawing of the underwear, but you can turn the pack over and see the actual clothing through the clear package back.

My final MaLo Underwear Purchase

I ended up purchasing the v-neck shirts and two packages of trunks – both solids and prints.  I’m happy to report that he liked everything I picked out.  The fabric is SO soft and comfortable (I wish there were some female versions!)  I had gotten XL for the shirts, which was a little big for him, but they have a nice fitted-stretch to the fabric, so they don’t look terribly baggy.  And since he was so happy with his new MaLo underwear I actually got to snap a quick picture!!  (Thanks honey for letting me throw you out there on the internet!)
