This Turkey Polska Kielbasa recipe is easy to make for a delicious weeknight dinner. It features turkey kielbasa and peppers on a bed of rice.
In just a few days, I will be making my way to BlogHer – the HUGE blogging conference that will have over 4500 attendees this year. One of my favorite parts of the conference (besides meeting up with great bloggers and great brands of course) is trying delicious food.
Last year I spent quite a bit of time hanging out at the Hillshire Farm “So Good Bistro” and eating (and eating and eating).
So, I was kind of excited when Hillshire Farm asked me to help create a dish that could serve as inspiration for bloggers visiting their booth to create their own “Simplicious Dishes” to sample, with a few polska kielbasa recipes to get them started. For my dish, I started with Hillshire Farm Rope Turkey Polska Kielbasa.
I chose this because I already love polish sausage and polish sausage recipes, but this turkey version only has 90 calories and 5 grams of fat per serving so I could create a satisfying, hearty dish and still keep it healthy.
UPDATE: Here is my dish displayed at the Hillshire Farm booth at BlogHer!

The dish is so colorful! I love how it looks, if only I could get my husband to eat rice… 🙂

I have also made it with pasta instead of rice. Maybe he would like that!
