It only takes a few minutes and a few ingredients: Lucky Charms Cereal, Popcorn and white chocolate, to make this delicious St. Patrick’s Day treat!
I originally created this Lucky Charms Popcorn with White Chocolate recipe just thinking that it would look really cute.
Well, once I made it I realized that it really does taste AWESOME too! I had to quick store it away or I would have ended up eating the whole batch and been left without this St. Patrick’s Day snack when the big day came!!
It actually wouldn’t have been a big problem because the whole recipe only takes about 5 minutes to make, so it’s a great last minute go-to when you find out you were supposed to bring a treat for that St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
This tasty St Pat’s treat can be made ahead of time by several days. Once you make it, you’ll just want to be sure to keep it sealed in an airtight container. Make sure it’s stored in a dry location since neither damp Lucky Charms or damp popcorn are very appetizing.
🧾 Ingredients Needed
- Popped corn – You can pop your own or buy a bag of already popped popcorn.
- Lucky Charms Cereal
- White chocolate, candy coating or almond bark – I like all white, but you can add in a swirl of green candy coating if you like.

I don’t think that is right that you would microwave the white chocolate for 15 minutes–maybe it should be 15 seconds until melted????

Sounds spectacular. I bet that my kids would love to try this out. I prefer the white chocolate over the dark. However, it is very sweet.
