This Italian Meatball and Biscuit Casserole Bake is an easy dinner recipe made with meatballs, a can of refrigerator biscuits, pasta sauce and lots of cheese! It’s a family favorite.
With fall officially here, I am ready for some comfort food recipes! I love to prepare meals that are as delicious as they look! And when it is chilly out, there is nothing like a hot meal to warm you up!
My husband has a signature dish. It is his one and only meal he can make! He cooks meatballs in a pan, adds spaghetti sauce and cheese and serves it on top of pasta. I know! Not too complicated, but that is how we like our food!
I wanted to create a casserole recipe from my husband’s signature dish. You cannot go wrong when your casserole is filled with delicious meatballs and lots of cheese. I wanted to do something different from our usual pasta bakes.
I do a lot of casseroles with crescent rolls or biscuits. I knew that would be great with the meatballs and cheese. I think the Italian Meatball And Biscuit Casserole Bake we came up with is the perfect fall comfort food!
Our food is not complicated, but we are picky about the ingredients we use. We only use one brand for our meatballs. Our favorite, hands down is Carando Meatballs, which we buy from our local Food Lion.
I love to shop at Food Lion for so many reasons! You cannot beat their fresh produce, so I always stock up on that. You also cannot beat their prices! We buy a lot of their store brand items because you get top notch ingredients without the high price.
Have you tried the Carando fresh sausage products? Oh.My.Stars! So good! We especially love the Abruzzese Italian Style Meatballs. They were the perfect addition to my Italian Meatball And Biscuit Casserole Bake!
Almost 100 years ago in Torino, Italy, Peter Carando learned sausage making as an intern at a local butcher shop. He then took that skill and his authentic recipes to America.
There he delighted his customers with the best Italian meats they had ever tasted! Even today, the recipes and the way the meats are made stay the same!
And now for the recipe!!
