Turn a simple candy bar into a festive gift or stocking stuffer with these free printable Christmas Candy Bar Wrappers! Make both Santa and Rudolph!
Looking for a last-minute gift idea or stocking stuffer that everyone will love? Why not wrap up some candy bars! You can choose your recipients’ favorite treats and wrap them up with these free Printable Christmas Candy Bar Wrappers.
Besides stocking stuffers, you can use these festive candy bars as an addition to a larger wrapped gift as a gift topper, for neighbor gifts, or pass them out as a small gift idea for mail or package delivery persons.
The wrappers are designed to fit a Hershey chocolate bar, but you can adapt them to fit other candy bars if you like. You can print a wrapper and then make color copies that are a bit smaller or bigger.
OR for bigger bars you can simply cut the paper a bit outside the lines of the template.
I really love both of these designs because they’re just so darn cute. The printable Santa candy bar wrapper is decorated with small white pom poms. The texture really makes the design pop!
The reindeer candy wrapper is decorated using a pipe cleaner, a red pom pom for the nose (to make him look like Rudolph) and a small jingle bell for the collar – so it even sounds festive.
These are super simple to put together with our free printable template! Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Materials Needed
- Santa Claus Printable or Rudolph Printable (these are best printed on Gloss Text Premium White 80 lb paper)
- scissors
- glue and/or hot glue
- clear tape
- tan or brown pipe cleaners
- full size candy bars
- small white and red pom poms
- small jingle bells
How to Use these Free Printable Christmas Candy Bar Wrappers
Step 1: Print out the printables on a thicker, glossy paper to give the wrapper that sheen and prevent the candy bar packaging from showing through. Cut along the edges of the grey lines.
Step 2: Lay the wrapper face down and place the candy bar in the center. Fold over the flaps and secure with tape.
For the Santa Candy Bar Wrapper:
Step 3: Turn the wrapped candy bar face up and squeeze a line of glue along the bottom edge of the red section at the top of the bar. Line the hat along that edge so it matches up and press down onto the glue to secure it in place.
Step 4: Place a second thick line of glue along the white section above Santa’s eyes. Place 5 small white pom poms in a row. Lastly, place a white pom pom on the white circle on the end of Santa’s hat. Tip: Hot glue works well for gluing the pom poms in place.
Step 5: Write a holiday greeting or message on the back of the candy bar wrapper, or attach a holiday tag with a written message.
For the Rudolph Candy Bar Wrapper:
Step 3: Turn the wrapped candy bar face up. Fold a 3-4 inch piece of pipe cleaner in half and curve so it takes the shape of antlers. Secure on the back with a strip of clear tape.
Step 4: Glue a red pom pom on the nose. Glue a jingle bell in the center of Rudolph’s collar.
Step 5: Write a holiday greeting or message on the back of the candy bar wrapper, or attach a holiday tag with a written message.
