I made these as gifts in 2023, but kept a few for myself. This is a great recipe to make right away or to store in a jar. Thanks for the recipe and the free labels! I wouldn’t change a thing in the recipe or directions. I do think it’s a little easier to mix if you separate out the cranberries and chips before mixing the dry ingredients with the wet. Then add them in as a last step.

Could I use all-purpose gluten free flour in these?
Chrysa says
I’m not familiar with gluten free baking and don’t know what adjustments would need to be made. If you try them and they turn out well, let us know!
Kelly says
What size jars are best to use? I want to make these for my daughters teachers this year.
Thanks.
Chrysa says
We used regular mouth quart jars. (32 ounces)
Kirsten says
How did you attach the labels to the jar, did you use regular white glue ? Did you put one on the front and back?
Chrysa says
I used peel and stick label paper, but you could also use a coating of rubber-cement type glue.

Hi
Can I ask if I make these now early November how long will the ingredients stay ok in the jar for ???
Chrysa says
As long as you seal the jar tightly, it will last for several months.

This would be a great gift for a Yankee Swap or Secret Santa! Food and alcohol are usually the popular choices.

I love this! Someone gave me a Chocolate Chip cookie in a jar recipe and I thought it was the cutest thing ever. I like how it simplifies it for whomever you give it to. This recipe sounds delicious too. I have mason jars. Hmmmm…. This would be a great idea for the kids’ teachers too.
Sarah L says
That makes a great gift! First I’d have to try the recipe myself…..
