Celebrate The Angry Birds Movie with these bright, colorful and delicious worm cones – just like the Hatchlings eat in the movie!

THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 is now in theaters everywhere! We love this movie because it is SO FUN and SO FUNNY and it deserves to be celebrated!
To do that, we have created a cute and colorful treat that comes right out of the world of Angry Birds itself.
One of the scenes in the movie that really caught my eye, even though it is quite quick, features one of the hatchlings – Jay, played by JoJo Siwa.
As a projectile makes its way to Bird Island, it casts a big, scary shadow that causes her to drop her cone of worms on the ground!
Even if you haven’t seen the movie yet (and why haven’t you? Get to the theatre!) – you can see this scene in the trailer below.
To replicate that worm cone, we have our own colorful version that makes a sweet and easy-to-make treat.
While we originally thought to make a worm covered ice cream cone, we realized that a crispy treat version is more fun to make and tastier to eat!
For the worms, we chose sour gummi worms because they are nice and bright (as opposed to the more translucent standard gummi worms).

Angry Birds Worm Cone Treats Recipe
Ingredients:
½ Cup Butter
12 oz Box of Crisp Rice Cereal
2 10 oz packages of Miniature Marshmallows
1 12-count Box Sugar Cones
4 7 oz packages of Sour Gummi Worms
Cooking Spray (or additional butter)
How to Make Worm Cones:
Melt butter in a large pot over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and stir often until completely melted.
Remove from heat and stir in cereal until evenly coated.
Spray hands with cooking spray or coat with butter.
Form cereal mixture into balls. Press each ball onto a cone.
While cereal mixture is still soft, press worms all over surface of the ball.
Wrap the ball end of each cone in foil (or plastic wrap) and place in refrigerator to harden.
Enjoy!
(NOTE: It is easiest to form the balls and add the worms one cone at a time.)
