Ingredients

  • 1 3 pound boneless turkey breast roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon thyme leaves
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Prepare the slow cooker liner with nonstick cooking spray. Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker liner.
  • Mix dry seasonings together.
  • Rub turkey breast in oil. Season on all sides with dry seasonings. Place in the slow cooker and cover.
  • Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees on an instant-read thermometer.

Notes

Your turkey breast should be defrosted before cooking. If it is still frozen, you'll need about 24 hours defrost time in the refrigerator if you breast is 4 pounds or less.
This recipe is written for a 3 pound turkey breast. If you make a larger one, increase the amount of seasoning and the cook time until the internal temperature reaches 165.
