- 1 lb boneless chicken breast
- 1 bundle asparagus trimmed
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon cut in slices
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lay the chicken breasts flat on a sheet pan.
Thoroughly coat each breast with olive oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste, being sure to evenly distribute the seasoning.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and add asparagus to the sheet pan.
Thoroughly coat asparagus with olive oil.
Sprinkle asparagus and chicken with Italian seasoning.
Add lemon slices over the chicken and asparagus.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the deepest part of the chicken registers 165°F.
Finish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
