Homemade Pita Chips

Starting with whole, fresh pitas you can make your own crispy crunchy homemade pita chips!

Ingredients

  • 4 pitas
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 
  • Smash the garlic cloves and add them to the olive oil, seasoning with salt and fresh ground pepper. 
  • Cut each pita into 8 wedges. For crispier chips, separate the “layers” of the pita as well (ending up with 16 pieces per pita).
  • Brush each side of each wedge with the olive oil mixture and place on a rimmed baking sheet. 
  • Bake 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through.
