Easy Homemade Whole Wheat Waffles Recipe

You can whip up a batch of these easy waffles in the morning, or double or triple the recipe and freeze the extras. Later you can just pop them in the toaster for a quick breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 C milk
  • ¾ C water
  • ½ cup oil canola or vegetable
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Whisk all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs then lightly stir in milk, water, oil and vanilla.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until well combined.
  • Cook according to the directions for your waffle-maker.
