Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 Dinner Rolls or Hawaiian Rolls
  • 8 ounces sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Swiss Cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Poppy Seeds
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • ½ Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 4 teasponns Mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally.
  • Layer ham slices on the bottom half making sure to touch edges of the bread.
  • Add Swiss cheese, then another layer of ham and cheese if you’d like them extra hearty.
  • Place the tops of the rolls back on.
  • Mix garlic into the melted butter. Stir in mustard if using.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with the garlic butter mixture using a pastry brush.
  • Sprinkle poppy seeds over the top.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the tops are golden and toasty.

Notes

  • Use any cheese you love: provolone, cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack all work great!
  • Add a bit of Worcestershire sauce or honey to the butter for an extra flavor punch.
  • For even more flavor, opt for Everything Bagel Seasoning in place of the poppy seeds.
  • These sliders can be prepped ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
