- 1 tube crescent dough
- 1 lb cooked taco meat
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups monterey jack cheese shreds
- 2 cups crushed Dorito chips any flavor
- ½ stick butter melted
- chopped cilantro for garnish
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spread the crescent dough into a pie pan, pressing the seams together to seal.
Evenly layer 1 cup of crushed Doritos
Next, layer the cooked taco meat over the Doritos.
Mix sour cream and salsa in a small bowl and layer over the taco meat.
Add Monterey Jack cheese shreds over the sour cream & salsa mixture.
Layer on the remaining crushed Doritos and pour melted butter over the top.
Bake for 20 minutes. Garnish with cilantro. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
-
Seal the seams tightly! Press the crescent roll seams so the crust doesn’t separate while baking.
-
Use freshly shredded cheese. It melts creamier than pre-shredded cheese!
-
Let the pie cool before slicing so it doesn't fall out. Also, let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting so it holds together better!
-
Crush the Doritos into medium-sized pieces—not too fine—so you get that satisfying crunch!
