Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent dough
  • 1 lb cooked taco meat
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups monterey jack cheese shreds
  • 2 cups crushed Dorito chips any flavor
  • ½ stick butter melted
  • chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spread the crescent dough into a pie pan, pressing the seams together to seal.
  • Evenly layer 1 cup of crushed Doritos
  • Next, layer the cooked taco meat over the Doritos.
  • Mix sour cream and salsa in a small bowl and layer over the taco meat.
  • Add Monterey Jack cheese shreds over the sour cream & salsa mixture.
  • Layer on the remaining crushed Doritos and pour melted butter over the top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Garnish with cilantro. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Seal the seams tightly! Press the crescent roll seams so the crust doesn’t separate while baking.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese. It melts creamier than pre-shredded cheese!
  • Let the pie cool before slicing so it doesn't fall out. Also, let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting so it holds together better!
  • Crush the Doritos into medium-sized pieces—not too fine—so you get that satisfying crunch!
