Copycat Shake And Bake
This copycat shake and bake recipe makes the crispiest chicken or pork you’ll ever taste. Seasoned with a simple herb and spice blend this homemade seasoning is going to become a staple in your house.

Servings: 2 cups
Cut bread slices into 1” squares.
Place bread into the air fryer basket. Cook at 300° for 10 minutes.
Let bread cool for 1 minute. Place dried bread in Food Processor
Blend for 2 minutes until bread crumbs are formed.
Add breadcrumbs to a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients except for the oil and mix.
Once mixed, add oil and toss until crumbs are fully coated.
If you don't have an air fryer, you can use your oven. First use a food processor to finely chop stale bread. Then place on a sheet in the oven at 225 degrees, stirring every few minutes until dry. Approximately 15 minutes.
You can easily use store-bought breadcrumbs for this copycat shake and bake as well. However, opt for plain ones and not seasoned ones. Use 2 cups in place of the sliced bread.
Store the seasoning in a mason jar in the fridge for up to three months.
