Bread Crumb Cookies Recipe with Chocolate Chips
These delicious cookies are a delicious way to use up bread crusts or stale bread crumbs.

- 6 slices bread
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Toast the bread lightly and then use a food processor or blender to cut into crumbs. Add in the flour, salt and baking powder.
In another large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Add in the egg and vanilla.
Add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips
Drop cookies (about a tablespoon each) onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
