Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage pork

  • ½ pack instant rice noodles 3.5 oz

  • 2 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil

  • ½ head cabbage shredded thin

  • 1 pack shredded carrots 10 oz.

  • green onion optional for garnish
  • wonton strips optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix your dry seasonings into your sausage.
  • Preheat a pan on medium-high and drizzle in your avocado oil once heated.
  • Add in the sausage mixture and cook it through, crumbling it along the way.
  • Toss in your veggies and stir everything to combine until soft.
  • Drizzle in your sesame oil and soy sauce then set aside.
  • On a separate burner, in a pot, bring some water up to the boil and put in your instant rice noodles following the package directions.
  • Once done, drain the noodles and then transfer them into the pan with your veggies and sausage and incorporate everything together.
  • Serve and sprinkle with green onion (and wonton strips if desired).

Notes

If you don't have pork sausage, you could use any kind of ground meat of your preference, or just plain ground pork. However, if you do go with a plain ground meat, be sure to add in 1 teaspoon salt.
You can also use olive oil if you don't have avocado oil on hand.
The addition of garlic powder would boost the flavor or add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic.
