Hawaiian Sandwich Pockets Recipe

These easy Hawaiian Sandwich Pockets feature sweet honey glazed ham, pineapple tidbits, bell pepper, and Mozzarella cheese wrapped in a crisp wrapper. YUM!

Ingredients

  • 3 slices Honey Glazed Ham cut into 1 inch wide (lengthwise)
  • 1 slice Pineapple tidbits or cut thinly
  • 1 Medium Bell pepper cut into strips
  • 8 slices Mozzarella cheese cut in half
  • 14 pieces Lumpia Wrapper Spring Rolls wrapper
  • Oil for Frying
  • Water to soften wrapper option, egg whites

Instructions

  • Place wrapper on a plate and soften with water.
  • Arrange ham on top of wrapper, place cheese on top of ham, followed by pineapples and bell pepper and top with cheese.
  • Fold wrapper on all sides forming a pocket or square and seal with water or egg whites. Add another wrapper, fold and seal.
  • Once oil is hot, deep fry pockets for about 4 to 5 minutes or until wrapper turned golden in color.
  • Serve immediately.
