This Butternut Squash and Walnut Spaghetti Recipe with spinach and garlic in a cream sauce is SO GOOD! 

Ingredients

– dry spaghetti – butternut squash – Salt and pepper  – olive oil divided – garlic minced – red pepper flakes – heavy cream – baby spinach – Parmesan cheese – lemon – walnuts *all ingredients listed below

Toss cubed squash with olive oil and season.  Bake in the oven for  30 to 40 minutes.

Cook the pasta and drain. Toss with lemon juice.

In a large skillet, cook the sauce ingredients. Add in the cheese.

Pour sauce over spaghetti and toss to combine.

Serve topped with chopped walnuts, additional grated Parmesan, and lemon zest if desired!
