⭐ Why You’ll Love this Recipe ⭐
Perfect for Both Holidays and Special Occasions – While we call these Valentine lollipops, they can be enjoyed year round. You can even use different shaped molds like circles or hearts for other occasions.
Easy to Make – The ONLY ingredient in this recipe is Jolly Rancher candies. It’s just a matter of putting them in a heart-shaped mold, heating them up and adding the stick.
Fun for Kids to Make – Not only do kids love to eat these, they also have fun helping to make them. From tiny tots to older kids, they can get in on the fun of creating their own candy.
Versatile – While the recipe is perfect as-is, you can use some of the variation ideas below to change it up a bit.
🧾 Ingredients Needed
- Graham Crackers – We used regular graham crackers, but you could also use chocolate graham crackers or cinnamon.
- White Frosting – Buy pre-made frosting our use our easy buttercream frosting recipe.
- Ziptop Bag or Piping Bag – You’ll use this to pipe lines of frosting in place.
- Conversation Hearts – I think the hearts are the cutest, but you can play with other Valentine candy instead.
🔁 Variations
While we think the conversation hearts are cute, you can play the game with other candies like red M&M’s, red hots, chocolate hearts or anything you like.
As mentioned in the ingredients, you can also change out standard graham crackers for other flavors.
For other holiday and celebrations you can change out the frosting color (i.e. green for St. Patrick’s Day or orange and black for Halloween) and use other types of candies to play the game. They’re great for birthday parties using any color of frosting and mixed colors of M&Ms as playing pieces.
