This Rotini Beef Skillet Recipe is any easy-to-make one-pot dish perfect for busy weeknights.
What are your favorite weeknight dinners? We love meals that are all complete in one dish like Hamburger Hashbrown Casserole, Slumgullion and Italian Ground Beef Goulash.
We also love having pasta and sauce, but I HATE the bunch of dishes it creates – a pot for the sauce, a pot for the pasta and a strainer to drain the pasta.
That’s why I like this Rotini Beef Skillet Recipe. This one pot rotini pasta dish has everything we like all cooked in ONE POT!
It’s also quick to make – less than 30 minutes start to finish. To round out the meal you can serve it with salad and if you like extra carbs (like I do) throw in some garlic bread too!
Rotini Beef Skillet Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
salt and pepper
2 cups pasta
3 cups water
1 jar pasta sauce
How to Make Rotini Beef Skillet:
Place beef and onion in skillet and cook over medium-high heat until beef is browned. Drain off excess grease, if necessary. Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add seasoning, pasta and water to skillet and bring to a bowl. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often. Uncover and add sauce. Cook until heated through and thickened. – – When you add in the sauce, feel free to add in any other seasoning you like. I tossed in some freeze dried basil.
