While Minnesota is a fabulous place to live, winter can be brutal! It gets so cold that you end up looking ridiculous bundling up in layers and layers of winter clothing to watch and evening Snowflake Parade (that's what we're doing in the picture above).
The cold and the combination of dry, brittle air outside and constant drying heat inside can really do a number on a woman's skin! So, as the temperatures continues to dip as we head toward the end of the year, it is the perfect time for a Girlfriend Pampering Spa Party with NIVEA!
To get ready for the party, I headed to Sam's Club for NIVEA lotion. Besides the lotion, I picked up some yummy treats to make the event more enjoyable. You can see my entire shopping trip through my Google+ story here.
After shopping, it was time to get ready for the party. Since the idea was pampering with NIVEA I thought it would be a great idea for us to do mini-manicures to get our hands prepared to handle the winter weather.
The manicures got our hands all nice and ready for hand massages. The moisturizing NIVEA Essentially Enriched lotion made them feel so soft and smooth. And I also really liked that the NIVEA is not greasy – that's an important benefit.
I also want to tell you about the NIVEA contest, which is part of the NIVEA Million Moments of Touch campaign. They are picking a lucky couple at random every day to win a DAILY DATE NIGHT.
