What kind of tablet can you use with the Cricut air2? Would my kindle work?
Chrysa says
Unfortunately they are only ios compatible, so it would have to be an iPad.

Hi, I make earrings with photo paper, lamenate them and cut them out with scissors. They have a diamond frame around the pics, or a teardrop shape around the pic. I make them it my paint program, and save them as bitmap images. When I’ve tried to print and cut them with my Cricut Explore Air 2 machine, the cutting is off center. I’ve called tech support, sent them pics of what happens and they tell me they have to avg files. Paint doesn’t have the option of avg. The design space program indicates it will accept bitmap files, so why doesn’t it? That’s mainly why I bought my machine. Can you help? Thank you.
Chrysa says
I haven’t used the machine myself yet, so don’t for sure know the answer about accepting bitmap files, BUT to help you can use a free online converter to convert the bitmap files to svg. Here are a couple of options I found to do it: https://www.aconvert.com/image/bmp-to-svg/ or https://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg – – I hope that helps! (You might want to try contacting Cricut support again too to see if you can get another answer about it accepting the bitmap files.)

That was svg not avg.
