Making a Warrior Dash HappiMess with Delta

I’m not sure if it starts as kids with our parents constantly reminding us not to get dirty, but somewhere along the way we get the idea that messes are bed and they end up with a bad reputation. But there can be a GOOD side to messes! They can be evidence of a life well lived and physical proof that you were out there making, creating, doing and playing. That’s where the HappiMess movement comes in! Delta knows that even though we can have a blast making our HappiMess, we’ll want to get clean again afterwards and that’s where their products and innovations help get us clean again when we’re done.

I had my own HappiMess experience at our local Warrior Dash! If you want to get messy, mud is the way to do it! This was my first experience with any type of mud run. If you’re not familiar with mud runs, they are a race with multiple obstacles along the way, many of which incorporate mud into them. The morning of my race started with a huge thunderstorm. The course had to be closed for a couple of hours and, by the time we started, what had been SOME mud on the obstacles turned into a WHOLE LOT OF MUD!! Needless to say, we had the opportunity for a whole lot of HappiMess too!

Luckily, at the end of it all, Delta was standing at the ready with a custom outdoor shower station featuring more than 40 Delta H2Okinetic® showerheads. These showheads are pretty awesome in that they deliver water in a unique wave pattern that gives the feeling of a warmer, more drenching shower. With all that mud, we really NEEDED the drenching. And, not only could we get clean, we had some fun doing it in the H2Okinetic in-shower karaoke station! Most of us like to sing in the shower anyway, but having a background musical track takes it to a whole other level!

While I was a more than a bit trepidatious going into my first mud run and I ended up injuring my foot at the very end, it was still a fun experience and makes me ready to create another HappiMess next year!

What kind of HappiMess do YOU like to create??
