KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer Review
I couldn't let the Holiday Gift Guide go by without mentioning my favorite item in my kitchen – – My KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I know a lot of women who love to bake and across the board we pretty much all agree that this is a fantastic appliance. I had been yearning for one for several years until two years ago when I finally got it!

This particular KitchenAid model is considered the “basic”. It comes with three attachments: a flat beater, a whip and a dough hook. They all attach and detach in only a second or two and are easy to clean. The mixer itself looks great. Even though I have a small kitchen, this is one appliance I leave sitting out on my counter. It does come in a variety of colors, so it can match any kitchen.

You can also buy dozens of optional accessories including food grinder, pasta roller, ice cream maker and more.

At the time I'm writing this, the Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer is 25% off at Amazon. List price is $269.99 and it is on sale for $198.96. If you want to go “all out” they also have the Professional 600 series and Artisan series mixers with prices ranging all the way up to $600, but personally, I am more than happy with my basic model.

The KitchenAid brand is great. My Mom has one, my Grandma had one and I would love to get another one. Mine was damaged during a move from the East Coast to the West Coast 9 months ago.

I want the Kitchen Aid standing mixer badly. I cooked and raised 5 kids with a cheap hand held mixer always wishing for a standing one. Money was always needed elsewhere. Now it seems I cook more, all the kids come often to eat at “Moms” but now they bring their younguns. With my arthritis it is harder to hold a mixer and this would take care of a lot pain!

This is one item I need for myself. During baking Wed. my hand held broke or the 1st item. So everything was done by hand. I have carpal tunnel and had surgery on both hands and elbows. I still can’t use them much, so I had to take a pain pill that last 2 days. LOL
I adore the green apple one. This is just one of my dream items. Needless to say I’ve asked my kids for a mixer for Christmas

This would make my baking so much easier than my little hand mixer.

I don’t know many women who DON’T want one of these! How fun! I learned to bake with my Mom’s Kitchenaid, so I figured I’d just run out and buy one. As a newly-wed with a baby, I was surprised to find out how much they were. LOL!

Here I am 11 years later and STILL want one.

My mother has one of these and it just sits in the corner.

With so many attachments and uses I’d be using it everyday!

This is definitely on my Christmas Wish List!
