Sometimes toys that look simple and that are inexpensive can wind up being the most fun. A perfect example of this is FyrFlyz. It's a small little toy that retails for only $5.99, but it is soooooo cool! It lets you create light shows, do tricks or even choreograph your moves to music.
The toy itself is very simple. It's a plastic hub with a light on each end that blinks in a random series of colors and at random intervals. Two hand-holds are attached to each end of it with string. You simply swing it around and once you get momentum going tighten and loosen the tautness to create shapes, squiggles, swirls and more.
When we took it out to play yesterday, my 3-year-old nephew was fascinated with it (even though he was too little to work it by himself), but I think my sister and I were MORE fascinated. We played with it for a long time! To get a better idea of how it actually works, check out this video:
I have a feeling that FyrFlyz will be in a LOT of Christmas Stockings this year!
