It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And by that, I mean it is time for Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas!
To me, there is no better way to get myself into the holiday spirit than by watching the new Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel. I’ll have them on while I decorate the house, write Christmas cards, wrap gifts – anything.
What I also like is that while my husband tries to pretend he isn’t into them, every time one is one and he comes into the room for more than 3 minutes he automatically gets hooked. Even if he doesn’t stay to watch it right away, you better believe he hits record on the DVR!
For 2018 there are 22 new original movies premiering through the #CountdownToChristmas. To enjoy them all, you can use the new Hallmark Movie Checklist app to can create reminders, watch trailers and stay up to date on all the exciting new movies coming this Christmas on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!
This Sunday night’s movie is “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa” and I’ll be watching! I loved last year’s “Christmas in Evergreen” starring Jill Wagner, Mark Deklin, Holly Robinson-Peete and Barbara Niven, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the characters this year.
About Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa:
When Lisa (Wagner) takes a last-minute Christmas trip to her hometown of Evergreen, she finds that the historic general store has been closed. Using her skills as a professional retail designer, Lisa decides to keep local tradition alive and help the good people of Evergreen bring the store back to life. As Lisa charms a local contractor named Kevin (Deklin) into working with her, the pair find themselves facing one surprise after another as they restore the store to its former glory. When the staff at the Kringle Kitchen temporarily accept the store’s beloved ‘Mailbox to Santa’ for safekeeping, the townspeople find and rally around a mysterious 25-year-old letter that never made it to the North Pole. As old traditions are made new again, Lisa finds herself falling for Kevin, the traditions, and the town of Evergreen.
