Giving the Gift of Sleep with Pampers + a Reader Giveaway

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

Everyone needs enough sleep.  From a newborn baby to a 90-year-old great-grandmother, sleep is a crucial part to a happy, healthy and well-balanced life.  It’s a well-known fact that if baby doesn’t sleep well, Mom and Dad won’t sleep well either.  Pampers recently interviewed over 9,000 moms about what was important for their baby and found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness.  Pampers incorporated this valuable insight, as well as their deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both parents and babies can rely on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

If you want the nitty gritty on how they are able to accomplish this overnight protection, Pampers Baby Dry diaper features include:

  • An “Ultra Absorb” core to cover up to 95% of overnight loads.
  • Their most absorbent Baby Dry ever (sizes 2-5) with a 15% increase in capacity.
  • Three layers of absorbency vs. two (the amount found in ordinary diapers).
  • A longer absorbent area and new, fun graphics.
  • Snug, stretchy sides, colored tabs and a belted design to reassure parents that the diaper will hold up.

Pampers Gift of Sleep

To help celebrate the gift of sleep, Pampers offered me a gift card to put together a special gift to “Give the Gift of Sleep”.  It was easy for me to choose who to present with this gift.  Our friends just recently had a little girl, actually girl #3!  With two children already in the house along with a newborn, sleep is a precious commodity, so I tried to think of a good way to provide this Gift of Sleep.  I figured the best thing to do was to keep the older girls occupied on their own with some fun new toys and then let mom, dad and baby all cuddle up in some comfy new PJs.  I even threw in a scented candle and cooling sleep masks to add in the relaxation.

Reader Giveaway:  One lucky Thrifty Jinxy reader will also enjoy The Gift of Sleep from Pampers with a fabulous prize of a Sleep Sheep Sound Machine, cozy blankets for Mom/Baby and a $50 gift card.  To enter, just complete the entry form below by 11:59pm ET on 10/28/13.  Good luck!
