I am always looking for ways to better streamline my family’s holidays. I have had several of “those years” where I found myself completely stressed at the end of the holiday season and wondering why I even bother!
But I find when I make plans, lists and budgets, it alleviates so much of that stress and helps me to better enjoy this time of year – which is really one of my favorites! I use my day planner, a notebook full of lists, a budget spreadsheet and a couple of different smart phone apps to help formulate and keep my “No-Stress Holidays” plan!
I have been looking for ways recently to streamline my shopping experience. I often will see a deal in a sale flyer and make a mental note to remember a specific item is on sale, but mental notes don’t stick as much as I’d like them to, so I often forget. Another option would be to keep those sales flyers and circle the items I’m interested in, but I hate paper clutter, so they get thrown away pretty quickly.
All of that having been said, I was really excited to learn about the Flipp app! It’s basically a digital way to keep up with all of your local stores sales flyers and to be able to circle items and create a digital list of the items you are interested in.
Here are the simple step-by-step ways to use this fantastic app!
- Flip: Quickly flip through favorite circulars to find items to purchase
- Search – Easily find products or stores to quickly create a shopping list
- Clip – Clip items straight to your shopping list
- Shopping List – Pinterest-type shopping list that allows for efficient in-store shopping
- Discount Finder – Instantly highlight discounts to find best deals
- Favorites – Save circulars from your favorite stores for easy reference every week
It is such a simple way to keep all of your local sale circulars readily available at your fingertips! And to be able to “Flipp” through and make a digital list of the items you wanted to purchase!
