Bringing Up Bates Season 4 just debuted on the UP Network last week (catch it Thursdays 9pm EST) and I couldn't be more excited! There have been times in my life that I've wished I had a camera crew following me around 24/7. Not necessarily because I'd like to be on television, but because it would be so cool to have all of my memories documented for me on film. A lot of the Bates family memories have been filmed on the show, including births, weddings, surprise parties, and more, and they've allowed us to follow along on their journey.
Despite being on television, the Bates family still finds ways to focus on each other and make the most of every day. How do YOU and your family capture memories? Maybe you do have a film crew following you around (if you do, I'd love to hear about that so be sure to leave a comment below) or you might have other ways such as photographs, scrapbooking, vlogging, journaling, and more.
I capture moments in a variety of ways. I think that social media makes it easier to do that because all of you have to do is add a certain hashtag to your photos and you can instantly pull them all up with a simple search. I also love using apps like Time Hop that tell you what you posted on this day in history each year in the past. Almost all of my photos are uploaded to Facebook and backed up on a cloud based system so I can flip through those digitally to remember special times. I also retro-plan. Wondering what that is? Basically I write in my planner as usual, but then I go back and add in journal entries or special quotes or even photographs to document what happened on special days. I have a Polaroid printer that I connect to my phone via bluetooth to print out my favorite photos on sticker paper to add into my planner. So fun!
Scrapbook.
There will be lots of new moments made in the brand new season of Bringing Up Bates on the UP Network on Thursday nights. In the premiere episode we already got to see how the whole family rallied around Gil with his hospital visit. It was so heartwarming to see all that family love in action making Gil feel better. I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!

Haven’t seen this show yet. Will have to tune in and check it out. Would be nice to have some memories documented that we haven’t had the good fortune to catch on film.
