These summer weekend days are so filled with sun and activity that summer Sunday nights are just perfect for crashing on the couch with a great movie! I started my weekend early by previewing Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse” that will be premiering this Sunday, August 4th at 9pm/8c!
We're big fans of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. If you're one of those people who loves Hallmark Channel, but you don't get Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on your cable or satellite, you're in luck! In a first of its kind event, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is taking over Hallmark Channel! If you're a fan of Candace Cameron Brue fan and haven't yet had a chance to see the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, you can watch this to watch the first movie premiere on Hallmark Channel!
About Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse:
Starring Candace Cameron Bure and Marilu Henner, when someone begins taunting Aurora Teagarden (Bure) with cryptic clues left at crime scenes, the librarian-turned-crime buff attempts to figure out who is behind the creepy “game.” But when the people closest to Aurora become targets, the game takes on a much more dangerous edge as it points to a planned murder. And once it is discovered that Aurora’s blossoming relationship with Professor Nick Miller (Niall Matter) might be the source of jealousy that is driving the crime spree, Aurora must be especially careful not to become the next victim.
Here's a peek at the movie for you:
As I mentioned, I had a chance to watch the movie early and, while I don't want to give too much away, I can say that if you're a mystery lover, you'll love this mystery! It had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I was watching it in the middle of the afternoon, but just a few minutes in, during a spooky scene in a dark room, the construction crew across the street from me dropped something heavy with a loud BANG that literally made me jump!
As usual, in “A Game of Cat and Mouse” Aurora finds herself caught up in the middle of a mystery that had me guessing throughout the movie (although I pride myself on being able to figure out a few clues along the way). And, once again, Marilu Henner adds so much life to the movie as Aurora's mom. I love her!
Be sure to tune in to Hallmark Channel for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse” premiere this Sunday, August 4th at 9pm/8c!
